Garden Gnomes Grades K-5
Gardening is a great way to introduce children to nature, increase their willingness to try new foods and create a lifelong hobby that is physically and mentally rewarding. Each child will have their own space to plant and decorate in our children’s vegetable garden...the children will participate in everything from sowing seeds to harvesting and preparing the food and will be able to keep their garden plot for the whole growing season if they wish. Along the way they will learn about insects, soils and what plants need to grow while having lots of fun and physical activity.
Meets Thursday afternoons once a week at the nature center from 4:30-6:00 April 21st, April 28th, May 5th, May 12th, May 19th, May 26th, June 2nd and June 9th.
Fee: $70non-members per child $55 members per child
